We do not operate on package pricing, same-day upsells, or treatment quotas. Our role is to give you an accurate clinical picture, then support the decision that fits your goals — which is sometimes less intervention, not more.

A prescription neuromodulator relaxes targeted facial muscles to soften expression lines, particularly across the forehead, brow, and outer eye. Dosing and placement are determined by your provider based on muscle strength and movement pattern.

Do I need a consultation before getting Botox or filler at Lumen?
Yes. Every patient meets with a licensed provider for an in-person consultation before any injectable or procedure is scheduled. This is a fixed policy at Lumen, not an upsell.
Who actually performs the treatments?
The licensed provider who conducts your consultation and writes your treatment plan is the same provider who performs the procedure.
Is Lumen a medical spa or a doctor's office?
Lumen is a physician-led medical aesthetics practice. Treatments are performed in a clinical setting under physician oversight, consistent with California medical practice requirements.
What happens during the first visit?
Your provider reviews your medical history and goals, examines the relevant anatomy, and discusses which treatments — if any — are appropriate. No treatment is performed at the consultation itself unless you and your provider agree to proceed.
